Your support will fund the grassroots impact of Black people in London.
My Moon Landing focuses on reducing the social and economic inequality experienced by Black people in the UK that are at risk of gender based financial insecurity. The official UK government statistics below spur us to redress the balance in equality:
The truth is, the situation is bad. It's really bad, and it is only going to keep getting worse if the people with the passion to solve these problems aren't given the opportunity and support to do so.
For over 3 years, we have worked with hundreds of Black social entrepreneurs and activists. Our work supports them by giving them access to skills, tools and key resources. However, if they don't have access to funding, no matter how good they become at doing their work, they'll soon meet insurmountable barriers that will drastically imepede their ability to solve the inequalities black people face.
The money we raise from our patrons will contribute to a fund that will help us support the activities of our members. The members we have strategically supported and funded in the past have gone on to massively strengthen their capacity and grow the number of people they can help.
