We believe that Black women, Black LGBTQ+ and Black non-binary people are central to the future of the Black community. So we've decided to do everything we can to ensure that Black women and non-binary Black people are supported to build social community projects to benefit local Black communities in the UK. Currently,

• 48% of Black people in the UK think we can affect decision-making in their local area (higher than any other racial demographic).
• 8% of Black people in the UK take part in local decision-making.
• 25% of Black people in the UK volunteer at least once a month (the highest rate for any racial demographic).​

We are empowering the passion and drive that already exists in the Black community by giving Black women, Black LGBTQ+, and Black non-binary people the skills, connections, and resources to build projects that will support themselves and the community.
